Meet Renee McKinney
OWNER / OPERATOR · FULL SERVICE COSMETOLOGIST
Renee McKinney is the owner and licensed Cosmetologist of Wax Talk and Hair Studio. She has a strong passion for hair and skin care. She previously dedicated twenty years of service as a Police Officer, helping improve the lives of people from all walks of life.
Through those experiences, she developed deep empathy and later devoted her spare time to studying beauty, therapeutic touch, and personal care. That passion led her into the beauty industry, where she earned her Cosmetology License and built the studio.
When she is not caring for clients, hair, skin, or the studio, she enjoys family time, her dog, traveling, and motivational speaking to at-risk youth.
